Aanhouding in Nieuwegein vanwege drugshandel
De politie heeft eind april een persoon uit Nieuwegein aangehouden op verdenking van de handel in harddrugs. Agenten controleerden de verdachte naar aanleiding van een M.-tip. Bij de controle werden handelshoeveelheden harddrugs en contant geld aangetroffen. Alles is in beslas genomen.

Ruim 500 kilo vuurwerk in beslag genomen in Hoogeveen
De politie heeft op 23 april ruim 500 kilo illegaal vuurwerk ontdekt in een bedrijfspand aan de Industrieweg in Hoogeveen. Agenten controleerden het pand naar aanleiding van een tip via Meld Misdaad Anoniem. Een 49-jarige man uit Hoogeveen is aangemerkt als verdachte. Het vuurwerk is in beslag genomen.
